Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

makes 3 doughnuts, or 12 cupcakes

Batter:

1 tsp apple cider vinegar or white vinegar (5g)

2/3 cup milk of choice (160g)

1 tsp pure vanilla extract (4g)

3 tbsp coconut or vegetable oil (30g)

1 cup flour (130g)

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/3 cup sugar (60g)

1/32 tsp pure stevia extract or 2 additional tbsp sugar

1/4 tsp salt

Glaze:

Icing sugar

Non-dairy milk

Drop of vanilla extract



Method

  • Preheat oven to 180ºC.

  • Combine wet ingredients in a bowl, and whisk well.

  • Combine all the remaining ingredients, and add to the wet.

  • Mix well, and place in a greased cupcake/doughnut tin.

  • Bake for approximately 15 minutes, until cooked through.

  • Prepare the glaze by combining the ingredients until the desired consistency is formed.

  • Once cooked, allow the doughnuts to cool on a wire rack before glazing.
